Dungeon Scrawl
A downloadable game for Windows
Dungeon Scrawl: Embark on a sketchbook adventure full of dice and danger!
You are the artist, embarking on a dungeon crawling adventure as your chosen persona. Use dice rolls efficiently on your special abilities to make it through the dungeon drawn upon a sketchbook.
Instructions:
- The only implemented class is the Barbarian. The Barbarian starts with two dice in their dice pool: a d4, and a d12.
- At the start of your turn, you will roll all the dice in your dice pool, and the dice results will show up as cards in the bottom-right corner of the screen. To select a dice result, click on the card, and it will be shown along the bottom of your screen. You can also drop your selected dice result by clicking on it.
- You can combine your selected dice result with another dice result by right clicking on the other dice result, adding the two results together.
- In order to use an ability, the ability must be unlocked, and you must have an eligible number selected. The numbers that can be used by an ability is shown in the top-right of the ability card. Note that some ability cards also require a target to be selected in order for the ability to be used.
- NOTE TYPO: There is a typo on the "Great Axe" ability card. the number accepted should read "X<=16", NOT "X>=16". Sorry!
- To select a target, simply click on the enemy you want to target.
- Once you have made all the moves you want to make, click on the "End turn" button to end your turn.
- The enemies will display a telegraph for their actions either beneath or below them. Watch out!
- Note: You cannot target an enemy if it is directly behind another enemy.
- Between encounters, you can choose to either unlock another one of your abilities or add a new dice to your dice pool. Think about dice averages and look out for good combos!
